New Camera, Many memories ahead

I have waited to own a Canon 60d pretty much ever since I started working at my job back in August. It's the camera I use there, and I instantly fell in love with it. After several talks with my husband, he agreed to letting me get one! When it came in the mail on Friday, I acted like such a giddy jr. high girl, but hey! I was happy. Sadly I wasn't able to open it until I got to Kansas, which is a five hour drive. Luckily it went by faster than I thought, and when I opened it, I was ready for a weekend of pictures.

My in-laws live in an old high school building, so of course there is plenty of area to take really neat pictures. My husband and his brother decided to play some frisbee in the gym, and I thought I would take some shots there..

Later that day we ended up helping Seth's sister move to her new home! We also got to see her place of work, the town's library! Such a cute little place.

The next day was when I got to do more shoots. We tried flying kites for a little bit, and it was my first time ever doing that! I did rather enjoy it though

I ended my camera's day with a little walk through Morrowville with my husband, which was again quite fun.

Overall, my weekend was very short and fun. I always love when Seth and I are able to go visit one of our parent's house, and now that I have my camera, I'm sure pictures will start showing up more and more :)

Until next time,
Bethany

Meet The Photographer

My name is Bethany. I married young and I married my best friend. I currently work as a product photographer at a really cool antique shop. I'm starting my own photography, which I hope you'll enjoy! I have been living a gluten-free life for a year and a half now and love to make recipes for the gluten-intolerances like me. In my spare time, I love to read, make crafts, spend time with my awesome husband, and of course play with my beautiful cat, Savannah.
