2 Photoshoots, 1 Day

Yesterday was an absolutely GORGEOUS Thursday day! The sky was sunny, the air was warm, it really is starting to look more and more like Spring. (Which is exciting, because it definitely had snowed some the day before....crazy) Anyway, yesterday I was able to do two different shoots for 2 very good friends of mine. I started off after class going to do some portraits for my friend Amanda. She was one of the winners for my Giveaway I did a couple weeks ago, so it was a short shoot, but it was also really fun! I love getting to go do shoots with this girl, because she is a fellow photographer, and actually in June I get to shoot a wedding with her! We are both very excited about this. Anyway, the sun was bright. And I mean, REALLY bright. I always hate doing mid afternoon shoots, but it was the only time that could work for us. I think the photos that came out ending up being really good though, luckily!

Amanda decided to start dancing like Belle, her favorite disney princess

Overall, it was a success of a mini shoot! Then, in the evening last night I got to take some Senior pictures of my friend Heather. We have been planning this shoot for weeks, and literally every time we set a day, it would rain all day and we would have to postpone. Luckily yesterday was beautiful, and we were finally able to get these done! (she's graduating in 2 weeks, it's about time we got to finally do them! :D)
I just want to point out that this is one of my favorite photos ever. I just love the dreamy coloring and the awesome pose she did. It's just lovely. The hair completes it :)

I'm still a bit new to photographing Solo portraits, but after these I feel much more at ease about them, and I am glad they turned out so well :) I'm ready to do more Senior shoots!

until next time,
Bethany

Meet The Photographer

My name is Bethany. I married young and I married my best friend. I currently work as a product photographer at a really cool antique shop. I'm starting my own photography, which I hope you'll enjoy! I have been living a gluten-free life for a year and a half now and love to make recipes for the gluten-intolerances like me. In my spare time, I love to read, make crafts, spend time with my awesome husband, and of course play with my beautiful cat, Savannah.
